Colmil Scaffolding is a privately owned company, which has been established for over 40 years. Our company policy is to provide a first-class service along with top quality equipment which all complies with British Standards at a competitive price.

We aim to pass on to our customers the benefit of Colmil being one of the biggest private scaffolding contractors in the North of England and our ability to make low-cost bulk purchases in the form of our unequalled equipment hire service.

We further back this by offering: low cost hire charges held firm for considerable periods; special fixed contracts for any particular individual long-term projects;

accurate medium-term scaffold costing forecasts; free estimating service for scaffolding requirements and top quality service and safe equipment always available.

In addition to the above we also offer an efficient and low cost transport service to guarantee that the equipment required by our customers can be delivered no matter the quantity within a set timescale.

Our provision of sub-contract scaffolding is to ensure that the client receives a quality service which embraces the erection of scaffolding in accordance with BS5973:1993 Code of Practice.

It also covers the comprehensive planning of labour and materials to make sure that each section of work is completed on schedule and in accordance with the site production programme.

Within our Quality Assurance System only C.I.T.B. registered scaffolders are employed to control the erection and dismantling of the scaffolds. All scaffolders are directly employed by Colmil.
